Can you derive a trigonometric equation?

I'm seeing a sine function,'jacked up the 'y' axis by the amount that's always 'left behind' . .so f(x) never returns a value of '0',but a minimum of 300 . .there's always a 'space' between the bottom of the curve and the 'x' (independent) axis
