Does it sound crazy or unstable to want to vacate my house because of scorpions?

I've had a diligent and dependable pest control company try to rid my house of scorpions all summer--sometimes showing up weekly--and I've spent the entire summer living with a friend as this work was done. I visit my home weekly and still see dead scorpions on sticky pads that I've laid throughout my house. My neighbors get them and three have been stung, but they aren't as terrified as I am. I am suppose to move back to my house the end of the month (how appropriate--Halloween) but I think I'll be watching the walls and floors and terrified one will come out of a towel. I am terrified to be stung and I am convinced that nothing can kill these creatures. I'm so depressed and miss the sanctuary of my home. Any suggestions on how to treat this problem besides the professional bug spray CyKick that has been used. I think these creatures can't be killed by anything but a boot and I'm not that gal.
