I"m having the worst birthday ever?

todays my 14th birthday. last night, my brother got in big trouble becaue he messed up the cable wires. today,all my mom is focusing on is making him clean out his closet and clean his room and everything. all my dad is focusing on is fixing the drain. i asked my mom if we could go sledding and she said 'oh yeah defintely' and my dad was like 'no i have to do everything ..no" so im just sitting here on yahoo answers listening to everyone scream at eachother. fun. what can i do to make this better?
