What are some aesthetic places in New Zealand?

I'm doing an ignment on places in NZ and i need to find 8 different places that are significant for different reasons. For exmaple: for strategic purposes i am doing North Head in Devenport. I was thinking of doing the sand dunes near 90 mile beach for Aesthetic. Are there any other places in NZ i could research on that has greater Aesthetic significance than sand dunes? I really need help on this seeing as I don't come from NZ and don't know it as well as my cl mates! HELP!...
