What Are some reason why College should keep the BCS system?

Every play-off suggestion I have seen would only end up in more crying and moaning from people who think their team has been slighted than we have already. Eight team & plus one play-offs sound allright until you actually give them some thought. Play-offs that would actually be better and create less controversy are not going to be acceptable to the lord-high-muckedy-mucks or the people who like the conferences the way they are. So. NO!! Unless somehow major changes were made to the entire FBS conference set-up.
