What application do I use to open .intel files on my mac?

Right now, I am on a Mac Mini [dont recommend to others] and I have to convert a .ram file to a .mp3 file or a .wav file or something along those lines, so I downloaded and installed a program called ffmpegX to convert it for me, but it requires me to download mpeg2enc, so I downloaded that but it is as a .intel file. What would be the most recommended application for opening .intel files?
